Now that spring is here, make sure that the outside of your home makes buyers want to see more. Here are a few easy ways to enhance your curb appeal.
  • Add fresh mulch to flower beds
  • Nothing says welcome like flowers - potted flowers are a great way to add instant color.  Consider using plants with yellow blooms.  It is the first color the eye sees and is supposed to stimulate our desire to spend money
  • Clean front entry - no dead leaves or cobwebs 
  • Wash windows
  • Touch up paint
  • Consider removing storm door and paint the front door a complementary color
  • Repair driveway and sidewalk cracks

Over 83% of buyers view listings on the internet.   The photos of your home must entice buyers to want to see your house in person - no clutter, no pets or pet paraphernalia, and please close the toilet lid!  Now that spring is finally approaching make sure your yard and flower beds are free of dead leaves, plants and winter debris. Great curb appeal will make buyers want to see the inside of your home.  Finally, potential buyers tend to make up their minds about a house within the first 30 seconds.  Make sure you wow buyers right when they walk in the door.  A warm and inviting entry way will make buyers want to see more.  If your property fails to impress at any of these critical points, your home will likely end up in the elimination pile.
